Under the general supervision of the ACSS Superintendent, the incumbent will serve as the working leader of a multi-trade team. The lead may assume responsibility for the crew in the absence of a supervisor. This activity involves performing the work of the specialized field, assigning, and monitoring, and ensuring completion of work orders. They will be responsible for explaining tasks to coworkers, training coworkers, maintaining time and material records, and assisting with performance evaluations as requested. The lead will receive general direction from the supervisor and provide leadership to a minimum of 25% of the time to at least one skilled worker depending on the complexity of the job
