Job Summary:
Direct and coordinate activities of personnel in the Key Control Office to provide the highest levels of security and customer service to the University Community.
The salary range of $60,500 to 91,600 is commensurate based on qualifications and relevant experience.

Essential Duties:
- Coordinates, oversees, and reviews daily operations for the front office and locksmith staff. This includes work orders, accounts receivable, accounts payable, key requests, key audits, and inventory for both office and shop.
- Develops, implements, and promotes plans and objectives for the locksmith and office staff in an effective and innovative fashion for new and ongoing projects.
- Works with multiple departments within the University, and companies outside of the University to coordinate and implement change to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintains compliance with external regulations and internal policies for construction projects and building maintenance, key issuance, and record retention.
- Generates necessary reports for command staff.
- Sees departmental staffing needs to include interviewing, selecting candidates, new hires and ongoing training and annual evaluations.
- Maintain and update items for departmental success including department policy, key management software, and key issuance process.
- Participates in budget development and monitoring of expenses.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum three (3) years office management experience.
- Experience and working knowledge of intermediate locksmith skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of office management experience.
- Experience and working knowledge of advanced locksmith skills.
