Maintenance Mechanic-Housing
Position Summary: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic-Housing for the Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O). The position is primarily responsible for the performance of such mechanical maintenance duties as the examination, dismantling, repair, reassembly and maintenance of various types of mechanical/electrical equipment, including refrigeration units, heating systems, air handling machinery, air conditioners, pumps, plumbing and steamfitting equipment, boilers, filters, etc. Inspects, repairs, and/or replaces used and defective parts; adjusts, lubricates and cleans functional parts.Among the key duties of this position are the following:May be required to perform general painting,
