The Security Specialist is responsible for maintaining the Board’s Electronic Security Systems (e.g., including access control, closed circuit television (CCTV), biometrics, digital video recorders and related security devices) throughout Board facilities and ensures that all systems are functioning properly at all times. Incumbent works closely with the Security Analyst to monitor, maintain, and improve the security systems and assists Law Enforcement Unit staff with using the Electronic Security Systems (ESS software/hardware. Additionally, he or she will interact directly with Board staff regarding systems and/or software issues experienced at the user level, as well as recommend and implement solutions for any electronic security related issue(s).
