Senior technical and union supervisor in the department. Supervisor of nine shops of skilled tradespeople: HVAC, Electricians, Plumbers, Shift Engineers, Carpenters, Locksmiths, Painters, Mason, and General Maintenance Mechanics. Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and assigning tasks for the maintenance personnel. Reports to the Director of Facilities Engineering. Duties and Responsibilities: Manages the work flow, estimates projects, sets priorities, maintains a constant workload for each shop or trade. Schedules work and projects that involve multiple trades.Inspects use of equipment and ongoing/completed work to ensure that work conforms with the requirements of the design and the local building, health & safety codes.
