ALOA Mission Statement
The mission of ALOA, as dedicated members of the locksmith/security industry, is to ensure professional excellence and ethics; create a public demand for professional locksmith services; represent and speak for the locksmith/security industry; and expand the exchange of trade information and knowledge with other related organizations to preserve and enhance the industry.
Performs the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems for the organization. Coordinates and performs testing of electrical systems as required by codes. Assists other trades as needed and general maintenance related to the facility.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates and performs electrical equipment maintenance, installations and modifications per all applicable codes and regulations
Assist in operation and general maintenance of painting, plumbing, HVAC, locksmith, and alarm systems. Oversees essential repairs and other duties as carried out
Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and physical structures as scheduled or needed under limited guidance
Monitors work performed by outside contractors to insure requirements are met and results are documented properly
Responds to in-house Work Orders and PM's on daily basis, and in a timely manner
May be required to respond to emergency calls
May be required to take call in accordance with facility in a timely manner
Provides on the job skills training
Supports and contributes to the development of new processes, products, or services
Maintains complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs. Maintains record ensuring compliance with TJC, Federal, State and Local regulations and standards. Responsible for keeping current on maintenance logs
Performs other duties as assigned
Shift:
1st Shift 7:00am to 3:30pm, M-F
Weekend and afterhours emergency work as required.
Early shift required last Tuesday of the month for emergency generator run – typically 1:00am until 9:30am
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE STRONGLY PREFERRED:
Ability to perform electrical equipment maintenance, installations and modifications per all applicable codes and regulations
Ability to assist in contributing to system training manuals and upgrades as changes occur
Able to communicate in English
Must have the ability to document records neatly and accurately
Ability to generate requisitions for materials and supplies
Ability to assign priority and teams in a timely manner
Ability to instruct others as per blueprints and work from sketches
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form
Ability to read, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exist
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volumes
Knowledge of safe handling tools and equipment
Basic Microsoft office computer skills
High School Education or GED
Two years of maintenance experience
Journeyman License
Valid Driver's License
