The Assistant Director of Construction, Trades, and Special Projects provides the senior leadership and supervision of the University Housing Facilities' construction trades (carpentry, locksmith, and painting). They are essential to the construction trade's project management. They are the resident expert on small-scale construction projects. They are critical to the cohesive construction trades work in University Housing Residence Halls.
Assist with developing annual and multi-year special project schedules and budgets
Ensure work compliance
Develop specifications in accordance with Construction Specifications Institute (CSI)
Additional Responsibilities -
Designated as essential personnel during inclement/hazardous weather and other emergencies
Ability to understand and apply University and Departmental policies and procedures
