General Maintenance Technician, (Trades Specialist IV) $27,527 minimum per year, UofSC Aiken Operations High school diploma and 2 years' directly related trade experience. Under general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, performs various trades related duties to include preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and locksmith duties, Assist with maintenance of vehicles which includes 5 university vehicles and 10 golf carts. Assists with upkeep and operation of a pool and Jacuzzi. Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, fire alarm systems, lights, appliances, and electrical equipment. Routine work hours are 8am to 5pm Monday thru Friday. Position requires heavy lifting & possible overtime. Application Deadline: November 2, 2020. UofSC Aiken is an AA/EOE.
