Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Security Systems Manager for the Office of Institutional Planning and Operations (IP&O). This position reports to the Director of Identity & Access Management- [IAM]. The Security Systems Manager administers the Security Technology Enhancement Program (STEP). This position also oversees the operation for the University IAM shop.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Monitors training for security technicians/locksmiths.
Meets on a regular basis with the Assistant Manager of Security Systems and the Director to ensure continuity and consistency of services.
Discusses strategies and ensure quality control.
Serves as liaison for the Division of IPO & Public Safety for IAM services and equipment to all University departments.
Reviews and approves requests for University Great Grand and/or Grand Master keys and Medeco keys.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of five (5) years experience managing access control equipment, CCTV, and intrusion alarms.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of keying systems and builders hardware in an institutional setting.
Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite.
Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands; a valid driver's license would be required for this position.
Possession of valid NJ Burglar Alarm License and Locksmith License.
Should be familiar with access control software/RS-2. cctv software,

Office environment, long periods of sitting, phone use, and computers.
