Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Security Analyst.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination and maintenance of all key systems and locks throughout the institution, as well as the maintenance and repair of all alarm devices.
Determines methods to be used, including but not limited to, key cutting and duplication, adjusting, or changing key combinations.
Maintains locks for desks, file cabinets, and narcotics closets and cabinets.
Maintains special security device locks.
Orders supplies and keeps records of usage.
Maintains keying schedules on major renovation and construction projects.
Performs periodic maintenance and repair on door closure systems.
Estimates time and materials required for repair and renovation projects; assists in planning sequence of operations and determine methods to be used.
Examines, advises, and maintains security locking systems for satellite areas.
Repairs locks by replacement of worn or broken parts or by adjustment or recombination of locks to the master/sub-master system in use.
Utilizes key cutting machines, drills, saws, buffers and grinders, key gauges, and locksmith tools. Properly stamp codes on keys with index.
High School diploma or GED.
NYC Locksmith License.
2+ years of relevant experience.
CPR/ Heart Saver Certification.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
