Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Facilities Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of Housing Operations Facilities with work performed in commercial and residential plumbing duties and responsibilities.
Mechanic will also work with steam hot water heating systems (Leslie Controls).
Staff member will stay abreast and explain national and local plumbing codes to other staff.
Majority of the workload will be in Plumbing; Experience in plumbing is essential to completing job functions.
Maintenance Mechanic will assist with HVAC, Electrical, Carpentry, Locksmith, and Window/Floor/Wall Maintenance work as time permits.
Experience working around and with college students
Class I and/or Class II Plumbing Licenses
Commercial Plumbing Experience
Residential Plumbing Experience
Experience with steam hot water heating systems
Demonstrated knowledge of National and Local Plumbing Codes
