Columbia University is seeking experienced Supervisor, Trade Services, to join its Operations Team. Responsibilities include delivering quality and reliable trade services by organizing the work of the Carpentry and Locksmith shops. He/she manages workload across the unit to assure a timely and quality response to requests for service. Determines the most effective manner to allocate resources during periods of peak demand. Establishes performance standards to meet the service expectations of a broad client base and productivity measures to identify and track progress and customer satisfaction. He/she supports the Director and works closely with other supervisors and managers across Facilities to insure a well-coordinated effort to maximize the provision of complementary services.
Bachelor’s degree and/or its equivalent required. A minimum of 3–5 years of related experience in operations and maintenance or related field required. Experience must include at least two years in a supervisory capacity.
