LockNet is seeking a remote employee Detailer to join our Architectural Door & Hardware team.
This detail-oriented and driven employee is an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills who is able to effectively work with fellow employees, vendors, and customers. Extremely diligent and organized, the ideal Detailer will be able to handle multiple tasks and high-dollar jobs in a fast-paced work environment. This problem solver is resourceful and able to make sound decisions independently. As this is a remote position, this self-motivated individual will be able to stay on-task to deliver quality work on time.
Detailer Job Description
The Detailer is responsible for reviewing, modifying, and building openings for projects. Detailers may communicate and collaborate with all facets of the team including coworkers and contractors throughout the detailing process. In addition, Detailers are responsible for serving as a resource within the department to assist in estimating and project management.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Reviewing, modifying, and building openings for projects, upon receipt of purchase orders.
Communicating with architects and/or general contractors regarding the return of submittals as well as answering any questions or issues.
Working with Estimators during the quoting process on projects through the utilization of AVAware for exporting and importing, with high attention to detail.
Monitoring key dates such as material on-site requirements to give Project Managers an estimated time to build shipments and meet requested dates.
Monitoring reports on a daily basis to ensure assigned tasks have been addressed.
Providing backup to other Detailers, as assigned.
Assisting in estimating and/or Project Manager duties, as necessary.
Providing feedback to Estimators and Project Managers for training purposes.
Serving as an educational resource to other departments or work groups within Locknet.
Minimum of 5 years of Division 8 experience
High School Diploma
